The Truth, Script

First Scene out of Sixty Three:


Int. dark room- night

A girl named SUZANNE wakes up. She is beautiful although her face expression expresses pain. She is tall and skinny. Her tan skin matches with her long brown-color-hair and brown eyes. She looks confused because she doesn't know where she is.

SUZANNE(V.O)

(in pain)

Where am I?

She looks around the room and only finds the small HOSPITAL BED in which she is laying and a small CANDLE on the floor. She does not know what clothes she is wearing because those BLACK PANTS and BLACK PLAIN SHIRT are too big her.

Suzanne is looking and touching her clothes.

SUZANNE(V.O)

What is this?

She is not wearing shoes. She is alone, no windows, no doors. Then, she starts screaming. There is BLOOD everywhere.

She covers her ears with her hands and shut her eyes.

SUZANNE(V.O)

(in pain)

Who am I? What am I doing here? I am not supposed to be here- I need to see- I need to see him. What is all that blood? O my god, its mine... But-

More BLOOD fills the floor, the scene gets dark and the title "True Identity" gets on the screen.

Roll-

(O.S) Suzanne's voice starts reading the letters on the screen. The screen is dark with WHITE LETTERS

SUZANNE(O.S)

(sad and mysterious voice)

All of this happened because of a miserable flash drive.

A picture of a FLASH DRIVE covers the screen . Then she keeps talking while some PICTURES of her, Mitt and Clark fighting against the Italian mafia appear in the screen. You can't really see any of their faces, just black SHADOWS fighting with WEAPONS and GONS in the WOODS.

There are some FLASHBACKS.

First flashback after the flash drive is a MAP that was in a room. Suzanne appears with Clark and they have marked the places China, Russia and America on them. The room is PAINTED and DECORATED in very warm colors. There are PAINTINGS and pieces of FURNITURE everywhere, a sofa, several chairs and a table. The map is laying on the table. Clark has dirty-blond-brownish hair, he wears glasses. He could be about twenty-years old.

SUZANNE(O.S)

(sad and mysterious voice)

Which had the world-best hidden secret since the 80s. All of that traveling from America through Russia and finally flying to China was never worth it.

Second flashback is a scene of her looking at her computer on a living room. The pictures show the fight between SUZANNE'S DAD and SUZANNE'S MOM and Demian's men. It shows how Demian killed her mom and through her down the river and when it took the BABY on his hands in front of the HOSPITAL.

(They don't need to know who they are or why they are killing other people. Just see the pictures)

This flasback happens after she says

SUZANNE(O.S)

(sad and mysterious voice)

Because what? I discovered that Camile,my boss,the one who told me I was an orphan killed my father and mother. How did I believed that Demian, the boss of the Russian mafia killed them.  I discovered that he was in love with my mom. I saw all those bloody pictures of him killing her. But was it worth to know the truth? I don't want to me America's new president anyways.

Third flashback shows a scene of Clark and Suzanne laughing and fasts moved into another scene in Russia in which Mitt is laying on his HOSPITAL BED on his HOSPITAL WHITE ROOM with only one little TABLE next to his beds fulled with FLOWERS and a SOFA in which Suzanne is sleeping. There is people talking in the hall but no proper words are alloud to be recognized. They are all buzzing. Suddenly CLARK enters through the door dressed with a WHITE COAT that says a NAME on it. They are talking but it is also buzzing too. Mitt is hot, tall, brown hair and wit

SUZANNE(V.O)

(sad and mysterious voice)

And now, all I have done is putting my only friends in trouble, Mitt, Clark. I need the medicines to save Mitt out of his comma, but is he even alive? I don't know how much time I've been in here. I wanted revenge, I wanted to kill Camile and I still want to. But, who am I gonna do that when I am trapped in a room with no possible forms of scape. Well, Suzanne Seex, me, will always figure something out

fade out to Suzanne's face in the dark room

SUZANNE(V.O)

(evil voice)

I need to get out of here. Find the now ruler of the American mafia and kill him. I should take his place just for revenge. A very sweet revenge.

Suzanne looks around because she hears a NOISE near one of the walls. She tries to get up and stares at the CHAINS that are binding her arms and legs to the bed.

SUZANNE(V.O)

So that was why the blood was coming out huh? I should get ride of this chains, but how? Oh, I guess I will know who is taking me as a prisoner right now, so who cares? Although I already know the answer.

The walls start living a crack, the walls are separating and a MAN dressing BLACK clothes is sitting on a CHAIR. He presses a BOTTOM which makes the bed moves right next to him.

Suzanne 

(yelling)

Who are you? What are you doing here? Let me out now! What the hell do you you are doing, huh? Who do you think you are? You bastard!

estrange men

(talking really peacefully)

I really do not think that you are on the position of yelling at me sweetheart. I mean, look at where you are and-

SUZANNE

(yelling)

Well, and why am I like this? Because of you!

ESTRANGE MEN

Like I said before, Suzanne-

SUZANNE

How do you know my name? I can't believe I am in here. Wake up, wake up. Okay, last thing I saw before I woke up was... Oh yes! It was Llewellyn-

ESTRANGE MAN

I am trying to make things easier for both of us. But, you keep interrupting me. If you do not stay quiet there will be some consequences.

FADE OUT:

To SUZANNE'S FACE for two seconds, then back to normal

Suzanne is staring at the man's eyes.

SUZANNE

Well, what would you do? If you did not need me you would have killed me by now. So, you should be the one accepting the situation.

The strange man stands up and walks in the room. His BLACK LEATHER SHOES making noises in every step. He gets a CUP that is on the big, modern crystal TABLE next to the SHELF. The room looks like a rectangle. Suzanne is in the right bottom corner. The shelf with the BOOKS is at the center-top, touching the black walls. There is one window and we can see it is at night. In the middle of the room there is the table and in the top left corner there is the door which Suzanne is staring at.

The man walks in the room.

ESTRANGE MAN

Look, dear I don't know what you are planning to do. But, here is the situation. I am the one able to walk, and you are not. So,we know who is the boss in here, and who is the vassal. Honey let me speak. Do you know why you are here? Do you know who we are?

SUZANNE

(confused)

We? What do you mean? I am not an idiot, I only see you in this room! And do you really think I know who you are? But you know my name don't you? Why is that?

ESTRANGE MAN

I am the only one asking questions here. Answer me, do you know who we are? Who I am?

SUZANNE

(looking desperate)

No, should I?

The man sits on the table.

ESTRANGE MAn

Well, you should.

There is an uncomfortable silence and the manshows a MACHINE that was hidden in his hands. In the machine there is a red BOTTOM. He presses it and releases Suzanne. He walks to her.

ESTRANGE MAN

First let me help you out. I thought you were dangerous, but you are not planning on being dangerous right?

SUZANNE

In my situation I shouldn't, I guess.

ESTRANGE MAN

That is what I told the others, any women who is as vulnerable as you should not be any effort to us.

SUZANNE

Um... what did you just say? Vulnearble? I don't know if you know who you are talking to because-

ESTRANGE MAN

(interrupting Suzanne)

I told the others that any women who would like to keep her friends alive would collaborate and make things easier for us.

SUZANNE

(getting furious)

Where is Mitt? Where is Clark? What did you do with them? Oh my god if you touched any of them I swear that I will kill you.

ESTRANGE MAN

For your luckiness, I didn't kill them. At least not yet. However, that is not the point now. Are you going to colaborate or not?

SUZANNE

What would I get as I reward? I don't trust you. I don't like you either.

ESTRANGE MAN

Okay, let me help you out with those chains and let us talk in a more private place.

He gets up of the table and goes to Suzanne. He fress her out of ehr chains. First her ankle's and then her hands.

The man whispers on Suzanne'ear.

ESTRANGE MAN

(whispering on Suzanne's ear)

Don't mess up, there is something you need to know before you make things harder. I am just trying to help. Don't screw up.

SUZANNE

(whispering to his ear, too)

I don't know what you are talking about. You are the one who is keeping me in here under my will.

The man is frowning towards Suzanne.

ESTRANGE MAN

Just do what I say, I know you don't like me. But, this will really save your ass. Please, just don't talk before I tell you to.Please...

SUZANNE

(whispering)

Whatever!

STRANGE MAN

(speaking loud)

Follow me dear, we are gonna have a talk.

SUZANNE

(whispering)

I don't get what you are doing- First you talk like I am in some kinda trouble and then you literally shout.

ESTRANGE MAN(v.o)

Oh my god, this is what happens when you are playing the good cop!

ESTRANGE MAN

Just let me help you and I will explain everything later.

STRANGE MAN

I don't even know your name, for god's sake!

The strange man walks to the door and and opens it  with a CARD that was on one of his POCKET'S pants. The card is white and has a name on it. It says Victor. It also has a number, 19875623.

SUZANNE(V.O)

(a voice like she is trying to figure out something, like sort of mysterious.)

What is that? Victor huh?

STRANGE MAN

Hurry up! We don't have all night!

Suzanne follows the man through the STAIRS. They are in the top of the room because there is no stairs going up. Only going down. There is a WINDOW and you can see a beautiful MOON that is full.

BATTLE MONTAGE

-Suzanne looks at the window

-There is a NOISE.

-Suzanne suddenly looks to the strange man.

-A LASER can be seen on the man's heart

-Another NOISE

-Suzanne is confused, she looks in all directions not knowing what to do

-An even louder NOISE

-The man is SHOT on his shoulder.

-Suzanne looks around.

-She moves her head, left, right, left, right, back, forward, left, right.

-She sees a LASER pointing at her chest

-She is standing still with her eyes closed

-She waits two minutes, then open them again

-She bends to see the man

-He is hyperventilating

-She takes a deep breath

END OF BATTLE

Close camera to the man's body and face

Now, the scene is Suzanne bended over looking at the man laying on the floor. There is BLOOD on the floor, all over it.

SUZANNE

(yelling)

Who are you? Tell me or I'll kill you right now! You don't have that much of a choice. Who were them and what did they want?

The man i with breathing difficulties, trying to open his eyes. He looks like he is going to die.

ESTRANGE MAN

I-I-I...

SUZANNE(v.o)

What should I do? This would be the perfect opportunity for me to escape. I just have to walk down the stairs and I will never see him again. But, what if he knows something I don't.

Suzanne's conscience(V.O)

(evil voice)

You know what you have to do, do not be stupid girl, we don't have time!
